CREATINE DECANOATE

CREATINE DECANOATE – a molecule consists of both creatine and decanoic acid. The main function of creatine is to replenish adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the main intracellular energy transporter. During creatine supplementation, muscle cells are able to store glycogen better. Glycogen is a type of fuel that is consumed during exercise. Glycogen also binds a larger amount of water, which contributes to increasing the volume of cells. Creatine also has an anti-catabolic effect, which means that it slows down the breakdown of muscle tissue. Decanoic acid is a carboxylic acid that is used in injectable drugs to improve the solubility of the active ingredient in fat. Some multi-component creatine preparations contain creatine decanoate as one of the components.

Dosage: 5-10 grams per day.
