MALIC ACID

MALIC ACID – one of many organic chemical compounds found in food, primarily in fruit. Used in food commodities as a flavoring additive. It is a normal metabolite produced by the body from fumaric acid. Oxidized to oxaloacetate as part of the Krebs cycle. Bioactive compounds such as creatine malate and citrulline malate, which contain acid, are often used as sports supplements. Malic acid is a supplement that has the potential not only to increase the bioavailability of other compounds. Also increase exercise capacity. The acid has the potential to increase the bioavailability of elements such as magnesium by creating more bioactive compounds with them.

Dosage: 1-2 g per day.
