SUGAROSE

SUGAROSE is an artificial sweetener that is about 600 times sweeter than traditional sugar, sucrose. It was discovered accidentally in 1976 by scientists at Tate & Lyle and Queen Elizabeth College in London. Sucralose is synthesized from sugar by modifying sucrose molecules, making it not metabolized by the body. As a result, sucralose is almost entirely caloric and can be used as an alternative to sugar. Especially by people who are concerned about their weight or who suffer from diabetes.

Sucralose’s properties are beneficial for athletes because it can serve as a low-calorie sweetener without affecting blood insulin levels or fat gain. As a result, athletes can continue to consume sweet products without worrying about negative effects on their body shape or physical performance.
