Studies have shown that it can improve erection and has aphrodisiac properties. It is believed that Protodioscin stimulates the cavernous bodies of the penis to produce nitric oxide. It is also believed to have the ability to stimulate the pituitary gland. Which in turn stimulates the testicles to produce more testosterone. There is some evidence to suggest that this plant may be useful as a supplement after AAS cycles. Its action is used to restore the natural level of testosterone.
