SODIUM CYCLAMATE

SODIUM CYCLAMATE – the sodium salt of cyclohexylsulfamic acid, is a commonly used artificial sweetener. Compared to sucrose, sodium cyclamate is 30-50 times sweeter. In food products, it is combined with other sweeteners, most often with sodium saccharinate. Sodium cyclamate in larger quantities effectively hides the unpleasant aftertaste of saccharinate. Carbohydrate, carbohydrate-protein and protein supplements, no-boosters, creatine stacks, isotonic beverage concentrates and many other sports nutrition products contain sodium cyclamate. It has no harmful effect.
