PALATINOSE

Palatinose , also known as isomaltose, is a carbohydrate with a low glycemic index. That is slower to digest and absorbed by the body than other sugars such as sucrose or glucose. Palatinosis is naturally found in honey, molasses, cane sugar and barley malt. It is considered useful in the diet of athletes, as it provides a long-lasting and even supply of energy. Isomaltose is metabolized more efficiently than other sugars. This means that the body uses less oxygen to convert it into energy. This makes it ideal for athletes who need a long-lasting but steady supply of energy, such as long-distance runners or cyclists. Palatinosis also acts as a prebiotic, which means it supports gut health and benefits the immune system.

Dosage: 30-60 g per day.
