GINSENOSIDES – are the basic active compounds that can be extracted from ginseng. They belong to triterpene saponins. There are about thirty different chemical compounds belonging to this category that can be found in their natural state in ginseng. GINSENOSIDES increase the affinity of hemoglobin for oxygen and, as a result, improve the oxygenation of body tissues. This has a positive effect on the body’s ability to undertake physical effort, which translates into more effective training. In addition, ginsenosides promote the healthy functioning of the immune system. They are also very effective in the fight against free radicals, as they prevent the activity of free radicals. In sports supplementation, we usually use them as ginseng root extract. Sometimes they are an addition to advanced antioxidant supplements.
