FERULIC ACID

FERULIC ACID – is an organic chemical compound that is a derivative of cinnamic acid. It occurs naturally in some plant foods. There is a lot of evidence that this chemical has a significant ability to neutralize free radicals. In recent times the role it plays in apoptosis, or “programmed death” of cancer cells, has been studied. Due to the antioxidant and lipotropic effects that have been attributed to ferulic acid, it is often found in dietary supplements. It is a component of some fat burners, but it can also be found in gainers. Its addition is to support the use of carbohydrates contained in the product. Is also often found in cosmetics.
