DAMIANA

DAMIANA – or Turnera diffusa (aphrodisiaca), is a shrub used mainly for its aphrodisiac properties. The terpene thymol is present, as are calamen, damianin, alpha- and beta-pinene, alpha-sitosterol, beta-sitosterol, many flavonoids and tannins. It has a positive effect on the activity of the central nervous system, also contributes to the antidepressant and anxiolytic effect of Damiana. This compound in combination with other plant compounds has thermogenic and appetite-suppressing properties. Due to its beneficial effect on the endocrine system, it helps control the release of libido-boosting hormones. Damiana also has testosterone booster properties.

Dosage: 200-1000 mg per day.
