CYSTEINE

CYSTEINE – is an amino acid that contains sulfur and is one of the endogenous amino acids (amino acids that the body can produce itself). Due to its unique molecular structure, this amino acid is very reactive. It can bind many different hazardous chemicals, making it useful in detoxification procedures. Aminoacid is involved in the production of glutathione, a powerful internal antioxidant. It also plays a role in the production of proteins, enzymes and coenzymes.

High-protein foods, such as whey protein concentrates and isolates, as well as amino acid preparations, are excellent sources of cysteine. Monopreparations are rarely found as monopreparations. Faster we will find an acetylated version of the supplement in the form of acetyl-l-cysteine.
