CHONDROITIN

CHONDROITIN , also known as glucosaminoglycan, is an essential component of articular cartilage and is present in the form of sulfate. It plays an important role in ensuring the maintenance of proper joint strength. CHONDROITIN is the main component of the extracellular matrix. It plays an important role in maintaining the structural integrity of cartilage tissue. Together with proteins, it is involved in the synthesis of proteoglycans. Due to its structure, it primarily provides adequate “cushioning” of the joints, which is of particular importance for people who burden the musculoskeletal system with intense physical effort.

Physically active people, people after injuries and the elderly may have a higher need for Chondroitin. For this reason, it is recommended that especially these groups take appropriate supplementation. Chondroitin sulfate can be purchased in a monopreparation or a stack for joints. These preparations often include glucosamine, hyaluronic acid, collagen hydrolyzate, vitamin C and a number of other ingredients that help in the proper functioning of the musculoskeletal system.
