ARGININE

ARGININE is an amino acid that can be synthesized by the body, but usually these amounts only cover its physiological significance. It is necessary for the synthesis of creatine, agmatine and nitric oxide. Supplementation has many intriguing effects. It is responsible for a number of activities helpful in building a figure and strength sports. Many athletes consider it an amino acid necessary for daily supplementation.

Taking arginine supplements before training has been shown to increase exercise capacity. Including endurance and strength, by increasing blood flow to the muscles (the so-called “muscle pump” phenomenon). Arginine taken after exercise will intensify regeneration. Two mechanisms contribute to this. The first is its direct effect on increasing the synthesis of nitric oxide. The second is an indirect effect on increasing the level of growth hormone, of which arginine is a precursor. It is taken before bedtime (along with lysine and ornithine) to increase the synthesis of growth hormone.

Dosage: 3-6 g before training.
