ANABOLIC – the term anabolic refers to substances that have an anabolic effect. This is a process opposite to catabolism, i.e. the process of disintegration of, for example, muscle tissue or energy substrates. This means that they intensify the process of muscle protein synthesis, lead to an increase in the storage of energy substrates, such as glycogen or creatine phosphate, or increase cell volume through increased water compensation. Examples of anabolics include creatine, glycerol, eaa, prohormones, sarm, or pharmacological agents such as testosterone, insulin, growth hormone. Their action directly stimulates protein metabolism. It strives to enlarge muscle cells, or changes in the amount of muscle fibers, referred to as hyperplasia.
Dosage: depending on the active substance.
